Chalet Gueret aims it's service at guests who are looking for a little bit more than the normal ski chalet experience. This attention to detail is evident in the immaculate bathrooms, the particularly comfortable beds, and the well above normal standard of the cuisine and service. No matter how small, no element of your stay is overlooked by your experienced hosts. For example, the bathrooms all contain pump showers to ensure good water pressure and the baths are all a decent size so you can relax in them after a long day. Similarly, the food service provided includes all the trimmings usually left out - such as pre-dinner drinks, and an excellent cellar providing a wide selection of wine.

All the bedrooms has some form of external access for fresh air in the mornings and great views on the downhill side of the Chalet. There are two dining rooms, which means that the children can eat separately, or the room can be used for meetings or lessons. The salon is enormous, offering plenty of space for the entire occupancy of the chalet to recline in comfort around the fire, and there is a further library to the side, which is generously stocked with books for you to peruse.

Chalet Gueret has a lovely outdoor terrace with a hot tub as well. There is a sauna and treatment room downstairs, in which a local masseuse can be employed to ease weary muscles. There is a games room downstairs with table tennis and a television with a games console to keep the children entertained.

Chalet Gueret offers a superior catering service. A full, healthy continental breakfast is provided each morning including fresh breads, cereals, fruits and yoghurt. A well earned afternoon tea is laid out for you on our return from the slopes including biscuits and cakes home-made for you that day. Your evening begins with champagne and canapés by the open fire in the comfortable salon, and continutes to the main dining table where you will be served a beautifully prepared four course dinner prepared with local produce. The evening meal is accompanied by an excellent selection of wines from Gueret's well-stocked wine cellar, which are hand picked to complement the meals. Coffee and port is then served and guests can retire to either the salon or library for conversation and digestion.

Chalet Gueret is located on the mountainside above the village of Essert-Romand. This location allows for equally rapid transport to either Morzine's Le Pleney lifts or Super-Morzine cable-car. Closer still are the Cote d'Arbroz lifts to the Mon Cheri pistes and Les Gets. Sufficiently high enough to provide excellent views, it is peaceful and quiet in the evenings. There is one bar within walking distance, the Petite Auberge which has all the local charm of a small village establishment.

Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick access via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.
